Massive Amount of Hot Dogs Recalled Because They May Contain Bone Fragments
Check out the hot dogs in your freezer before you eat them—seven million pounds of frankfurters are subject to a recall after bone fragments were found.
If your kiddo's summer fav food is hot dogs like my brood, listen up!
Bronx-based Marathon Enterprises Inc. is recalling a whopping 7,196,084 pounds of hot dogs because they may contain extraneous material like bone fragments. Shudder. The recall was initiated after one person received a minor oral injury while consuming one of the company's frankfurters.
According to the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), this high-health risk recall includes beef and pork hot dog and sausage products made between March 17 and July 4, 2017.
